I was reading through my emails this morning when I saw a bulletin about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie being sighted near One Fullerton by the Marina Bay waterfront in Singapore. Without scanning through the article attached, I opened up the photo, and upon closer inspection did I see that they weren’t really the recently-married Brangelina.
But the wax figures amazingly looked like the A-list couple down to the littlest details—from Angelina’s alluring pouty lips to Brad’s sharp jaw. Madame Tussauds Singapore, an attraction opening in October, flew them along with other celebrities from a studio in London.
The wax museum is rolling out the red carpet for the likes of Johnny Depp, David Beckham, and Lady Gaga, as well as distinguished figures and celebrities from Singapore, Asia, and the world. The figures will be showcased in themed sections, such as World Leaders, History, Film, Sport, Music, TV, and the special A-List Party.
Madame Tussauds Singapore will be housed under a 2260 square meter building that it will share with Images of Singapore LIVE, a classic attraction in Sentosa currently being updated. The two will be linked by a boat ride called The Spirit of Singapore.
Madame Tussauds Singapore at Sentosa Island will open its doors daily starting October 25, 2014 from 10:00AM to 9:00PM. Visit www.madametussauds.com/Singapore and follow them on Facebook and Twitter for updates.
