The second half of the year officially ushers in the rainy days, and the rainy days usually affect travel plans. As travelers, we should be prepared for sudden eventualities, most especially when we’re on the road. Spyder Philippines delivered to me two of their hottest products from their third catalogue—the Hybrid Water Repellant Performance Eyewear and the Barrel Water Resistant Sports Watch. I was excited to use them, thus I brought them to my trip to Malaysia
The Hybrid Water Repellant Performance Eyewear is most importantly equipped with Polartech lenses, which means 100% UV and glare protection. Its lenses are also hydrophobic, making it adaptable to our ever-so-changing weather. Lastly, its frame is made of Grilamid TR90, which is virtually indestructible nylon with an extreme bending strength.
Aside from its remarkable features, I like the Hybrid because of its style. Plus, it has a band that assures a snug fit around my head. Walking around Penang and Melaka, I appreciated how my eyes were effectively shielded from the ferocious rays of the sun.
On the other hand, the Barrel Water Resistant Sports Watch has a stainless steel back and a rubber strap, and it is water resistant to up to 100 meters. It is well-featured with a date display, an alarm, and a backlight, too. But what I like best about it is its large time display.
I tried them out in the sunny weather in Malaysia, and I’m pretty sure I’ll be testing them out on a rainy day here in the Philippines. Yes, the Lost Boy is geared up for the rainy days.
