My last trip to Taipei came such after a long time that I wanted to see and do a lot of things in four days. As such, it was only fitting that I pick a centrally-located hotel that would get me anywhere I wanted to go to in Taipei in minutes. And since I had a packed itinerary, it was a given that I wanted a luxurious hotel to retire to each tiring day. Fitting the bill was Shangri-La’s Far Eastern Plaza Hotel Taipei, which turned out to be an excellent pick.

It’s right in the heart of a business district, a stone’s throw away from the Taipei World Trade Convention and Exhibition Centre.
