Jamba Juice Philippines recently opened shop at The Block SM City North EDSA. As a promoter of dynamic lifestyles, what better way to Jambafy everyone but through an Active Camp? Recently, we trooped to the north for a fun, exciting day! Read more…
Their Active Camp had several stations that we were all keen to try. First off, there was a wall for climbing and rappelling. I tried the former, and despite my lack of confidence regarding my fitness, I climbed the wall in mere seconds. I really need to do my first hike!
At the middle of the camp, there was the huge trampoline. Much as I wanted to try it, small kids were jumping on it to no end, thus preventing the big kids like myself from using it. To think they already had a ball arena on a trampoline and a play area!
But anyway, it was all right because the LaSalle Street Dance Crew gave us an energetic number, Matteo Guidicelli greeted his fans and sang a couple of songs, and a group of women sashayed into the stage to give everyone an impromptu Zumba lesson. I am considering taking Zumba classes come summer, no kidding.
Aside from their ever-so-popular photo booth, there was the familiar Bike Blender that serves a dual purpose. It doesn’t only keep their customers and employees fit, but every time someone does five minutes on the stationary bike, Jamba Juice Philippines donates a mango seedling to be planted at the Guimaras Mango Park.
It could be remembered that Jamba Juice Philippines is closely working with the Bureau of Plant Industry-Guimaras National Mango Research and Development Center (BPI-GNMRDC), for they believe in the sweetness and the potential of our own. Therefore, they have been lobbying the use of Guimaras mangoes across all Jamba Juice stores.
In all, Jamba Juice Philippines doesn’t only encourage dynamic lifestyles, but it also supports the local fruit industry and the livelihood it thus brings to communities.
From California to Manila, Jamba Juice is now blending at the second floor of The Block SM City North EDSA. For updates, follow them on Facebook and Twitter.
