The Queen City of the South, Cebu, is my favorite city outside Manila. There’s so much to see and explore from the strong Spanish influence to the vibrant Cebu City nightlife. Foodies will have a frenzy eating tasty Lechon Cebu, and beach bums will love the tranquil shores of Bantayan Island, which is away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Cebu is also the home of the Sinulog Festival every January.

Simply put, Davao is a nature lover’s delight. This is where Philippine Eagle Centre, Eden’s Nature Park, Davao Crocodile Park, and the famous Samal Island beach are. There’s so much to eat too, like pungent albeit delicious durian at Magsaysay Boulevard and sumptuous chicken BBQ by Colasa’s. Davao is also the home of the Kadayawan Festival every August.
Writing those made me want to fly to Cebu and Davao soon. I miss my favorite cities.
SEAIR also flies to other local destinations, such as the majestic Basco in Batanes, the heritage city of Vigan, El Nido in Palawan, Tablas, and Taytay. They offer the fastest flights to Boracay as well. Check FlySeair.com or call +63 2 849 0100 for details and bookings. You can also check their page on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.
