Cebu Pacific Air, now the Philippines’ largest airline, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this March. To commemorate the milestone, aside from its signature Piso Fare Sale, its cabin crew will wear new uniform, which are also part of the rebranding it undertook starting last year.
Jun Escario, a homegrown Cebu talent, was enjoined by to design the uniforms. According to the airline, “the new look is bright and cheery, yet polished and streamlined.” Of course, the colors used were from the airlines’ refreshed color scheme that reflects the colors of our country: green for land, blue for skies and seas, and yellow for the sun.
Lady cabin crew will wear a top and cardigan in a sunny shade of yellow. To complement their shape, the tops come with vertical darts for a slender fit. It will be paired with a knee-length, slim-fit navy denim skirt that allows them to move around easily. Completing the look are a scarf in a tropical print featuring Cebu Pacific’s official colors, understated make up, and pearl earrings.
Male cabin crew, meanwhile, will also wear the yellow top and cardigan and will pair them with blue denim jeans.
New features of the uniform also include a sleek denim trench coat to be worn when weather is too chilly, a straw fedora hat, and a choice between nude heels when outside the aircraft (for the ladies) and navy blue sneakers when inside.
Cebu Pacific’s cabin crew will don their new uniforms starting March 28, 2016, so book a flight now through www.cebupacificair.com to see them up close.
